Job summary

Synergie Australia is seeking a confident Loading Marshall to join a busy logistics operation in Milperra. This temp-to-perm opportunity offers regular hours Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm, and a pay rate of $34 per hour.

The role focuses on coordinating truck movements, allocating drivers, and upholding WHS standards. Ideal candidates have traffic controller experience or strong transport/logistics backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and the ability to stay calm in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Previous Traffic Controller experience – highly desirable.
• Experience in transport, logistics, warehousing, yard coordination or a similar environment.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Confidence communicating with a wide range of truck drivers and transport personnel.
• The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to use computers, tablets and technology-based systems.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• A strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to ongoing work.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct truck drivers arriving and departing the site.
• Allocate drivers to designated loading and unloading spots using site technology and systems.
• Communicate clearly with drivers regarding loading locations, procedures and site requirements.
• Monitor truck movements and assist with maintaining an organised and efficient yard.
• Ensure drivers follow site traffic management procedures.
• Enforce WHS requirements and site safety procedures.
• Ensure drivers remain within designated areas and follow loading instructions.
• Assist with managing vehicle flow during busy periods.
• Use computers, tablets and other technology to allocate and manage driver locations.
• Maintain accurate records and update relevant systems as required.
• Communicate with warehouse, transport and operational teams.
• Identify and report safety hazards or operational issues.
• Maintain a professional, respectful and approachable manner when dealing with drivers and site personnel.

Synergie Australia is currently seeking a confident, reliable and safety-focused Loading Marshall to join a busy logistics operation in Milperra.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous traffic control, transport, logistics or yard coordination experience who is comfortable communicating with drivers and managing a busy loading environment.

You will play an important role in coordinating truck movements, allocating drivers to loading spots and ensuring all drivers and site personnel follow workplace health and safety requirements.

Previous Traffic Controller experience is highly desirable, however candidates with strong transport, logistics or yard experience and excellent communication skills will also be considered.

About You

The successful candidate will have:
