Job summary

Re.Group, an Australian-owned recycling and resource recovery company, is seeking a permanent Loader Driver in Brisbane, QLD, to operate front-end loaders, move commingled materials and transport within the plant.

Working Monday to Friday, 07:00–17:30, you will perform pre-start checks, follow safety procedures, communicate on UHF radio, and support yard duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Front end Loader ticket is essential.
• Forklift license is desirable.
• Good communication via UHF radio and strong safety awareness are expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loaders to move, load out and transport commingled materials inside the plant.
• Conduct daily pre-start checks (tyres, hydraulics, lights, fluids, attachments).
• Able to safely operate the equipment plant with the ability to effectively communicate on the UHF radio.
• Adhere to health & safety procedures and report near misses and fault findings.
• Follow site traffic management plans, speed limits and safe operating procedures.
• Keep the machine clean and perform safe shutdown daily.
• Assist with general labouring or yard duties when required.

We are looking for an experienced Loader Driver on a permanent basis who is able to work from Monday to Friday between 07:00-17:30.

About the role:

Operate front-end loaders to move, load out and transport commingled materials inside the plant

Conduct daily pre-start checks (tyres, hydraulics, lights, fluids, attachments).

Able to safely operate the equipment plant with the ability to effectively communicate on the UHF radio.

Always adhere to health & safety procedures and policies at all times and report any near misses and fault findings

Follow site traffic management plans, speed limits, and safe operating procedures.

Keep the machine clean and ensure safe shutdown procedures daily.

Assist with general labouring or yard duties when required.

About you:

Previous relevant experience in recycling/waste, heavy industrial, manufacturing, FOGO, or similar industry

Previous relevant experience as a front end loader

Front end Loader ticket is essential

Forklift license is desirable

Skilled and safe use of relevant plant and equipment required to effectively and efficiently complete required tasks
