Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a casual HR driver at our Newcastle/Beresfield site to operate a rear lift collection vehicle and support sustainable waste services. You will perform pre-start checks, follow safety protocols and deliver excellent customer service in a hands-on role.

Availability on weekends and public holidays is required, along with a commitment to safety and physical fitness for manual duties. Join a leader in waste management with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Current HR Driver Licence
• Previous truck driving experience
• Must be available to work weekends and public holidays
• Physically fit and capable of manual duties
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service
• Willing to complete a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening

Responsibilities

• Operate a rear lift collection vehicle safely and efficiently
• Complete daily pre-start, maintenance and safety checks
• Deliver professional customer service and represent the company positively
• Follow all safety, operational and fatigue management requirements
• Perform manual duties as required — this is an active, hands-on role
