Job summary

Fulton Hogan Ltd is seeking a Front End Loader Operator for our Laverton site. You will operate front end loaders and support a mobile production team, ensuring efficient material handling and adherence to safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes reliable operation of equipment, collaboration with supervisors, and ongoing safe practices on a busy construction site in Victoria, Australia. Experience with loaders and Bobcats is essential; licenses and flexibility to work extended hours

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating Front End Loaders and Bobcats or similar earthmoving machinery.
• Able to perform light manual handling tasks.
• High Risk Forklift license desired; MR/HR license desirable.

Responsibilities

• Participating in daily pre-start meetings to address site requirements
• Managing materials, plant, personnel and subcontractors
• Coordinating with the Production Supervisor to maintain production volumes
• Utilising experience to develop and support other team members
• Maintaining plant and assets
• Resolving daily site issues
• Identifying hazards and assessing risk through safety audits and environmental risk assessments

Requirements

• Motivated to support and motivate site teams ensuring focus on safety, quality, cost, and schedule
