Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Transport Manager based at our Minto, NSW facility to lead safe, efficient transport operations and drive high-quality customer outcomes. You will oversee fleet performance, scheduling, compliance, and a strong safety culture across the team and with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of NHVR requirements, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management and transport compliance obligations.
• Experience leading transport operations, scheduling, and fleet performance.
• Proven ability to mentor drivers and transport teams to achieve business objectives.
• Excellent stakeholder management with customers, subcontractors and internal teams.

How you'll connect to the role? To be successful in this role, you'll bring proven experience in transport, logistics, or fleet operations, along with strong leadership and people management skills. You'll have a solid understanding of transport compliance requirements and be passionate about creating safe, productive, and customer-focused outcomes.

We're looking for someone who can also demonstrate:

• Strong knowledge of NHVR requirements, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), fatigue management, and transport compliance obligations.
• Experience managing transport scheduling, fleet utilisation, maintenance requirements, and operational performance.
• The ability to lead, mentor, and develop drivers and transport teams to achieve business objectives.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with customers, subcontractors, and operational teams.
• A proactive approach to safety, risk management, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
• Well-developed commercial acumen with experience monitoring KPIs, budgets, and transport costs.
• Dangerous Goods experience is advantageous, however training can be provided.
