Job summary
Redpath Mining invites applications for a Safety & Training Coordinator at North Parkes, NSW. Reporting to site leadership, you will drive safety systems, training programs and workforce competency management to ensure a compliant workplace.

- Strong administrative and communication skills with attention to detail.

- Support safety initiatives, inspections and audits.
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Facilitate inductions and site-specific training programs.
- Monitor statutory training and refresher requirements.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all work groups.
- Prepare reports and training matrices for compliance.
- Support workforce mobilisation and contractor compliance processes.
- Liaise with operations leaders, employees and external training providers.

Redpath Australia has been selected as the preferred mining contractor for the Northparkes E22 Block Cave Development Project in Parkes, NSW. We are seeking an experienced Safety & Training Coordinator to support the safe mobilisation, development and operation of one of Australia's most significant underground mining projects.
Reporting to site leadership, the Safety & Training Coordinator will support the implementation of safety systems, training programs and workforce competency management to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.
- Coordinate site training, onboarding and competency management systems

To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in Safety, Training or Workforce Development within mining, construction or heavy industry
- Knowledge of training and competency management systems
- Understanding of workplace health and safety legislation and practices
- Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills
- Ability to influence and engage with operational personnel
- High attention to detail and commitment to compliance
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (highly regarded)
- Relevant safety qualifications advantageous
- Ability to meet site access and employment requirements
