Bayside Health is seeking a Consumer Peer Worker for the Women’s Recovery Network at the Ramsay Clinic Albert Rd site in Melbourne. The role is permanent part-time (64 hours per fortnight) within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on peer support for women with mental health needs.

This position offers a lived experience-based recovery approach, flexible hours and opportunities for professional development within a large public health service.

Formación

• Lived experience of your own mental health challenges and recovery journey; inspires hope.
• Minimum 12 months experience as lived experience or peer worker desirable.
• Experience with public or private mental health systems.
• Current Victorian Driver’s Licence.
• Satisfactory Working With Children Check.

Responsabilidades

• Provide formalised peer support and practical assistance to service users to support recovery.
• Promote choice, self-determination, hope and social connections in local communities.
• Work from Lilac Pod and across the unit including Hospital in the Home Team.
• Contribute as a valued member of a multidisciplinary team.
