Job summary

Grand Pacific Health is seeking a Part-time Peer Worker to join the CLS team on a fixed-term basis until 30 June 2031. The role focuses on Intentional Peer Support principles, helping clients engage in recovery and empowering their self-determination.

Successful candidates will have lived experience, a commitment to peer-led practice, and will work towards the required qualification within six months of employment, contributing to a supportive, flexible work culture.

Qualifications

• Must have direct lived experience of mental health challenges and service use.
• Commitment to sharing lived experience to engender hope and support others on their recovery journey.
• Willingness to work towards the qualification within first 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group support grounded in Intentional Peer Support.
• Engage clients, model recovery, and strengthen consumer choice and self-determination.
• Support CLS team with recovery-focused activities and consumer engagement.
