Job summary

Grand Pacific Health NSW is seeking a part-time Peer Worker (22.5 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract to 30 June 2031 to provide individual and group support within the CLS team, grounded in Intentional Peer Support principles such as mutuality, shared learning, connection and hope. You will engage consumers, role-model recovery, and strengthen their sense of choice and self-determination.

Qualifications

• Must have Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or be working towards within first 6 months.
• Direct lived experience of mental health challenges and service use.
• Commitment to sharing lived experience to engender hope and support others on their personal recovery journey.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual peer support within the CLS team.
• Lead group sessions grounded in Intentional Peer Support principles.
• Support engagement, recovery role-modelling, and consumer self-determination.
