Job summary

Mind Australia Limited is seeking a compassionate Lived Experience Led – Peer Practitioner in Geelong for a fixed-term, part-time and casual role within the Peer Healing Space. The position focuses on utilising lived experience to support healing and recovery, with a rotating 24/7 roster in a home-like setting.

The successful candidate will contribute to a highly skilled peer workforce, working within recovery-oriented practice and Intentional Peer Support principles to help people access

Qualifications

• Demonstrates lived/living experience and recovery knowledge.
• Ability to apply peer-led recovery approaches.
• Willingness to contribute lived expertise to organisational impact.
• Experience in peer role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge from lived experiences and Lived Expertise.
• Support delivery of recovery-oriented peer services.
• Walk alongside people using Intentional Peer Support during distress while staying connected.
• Assist with system navigation and linkages to community agencies.
