Job summary

Rocksteady Music School Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking a School Performance Representative to inspire primary-aged students with live rock and pop music. You’ll bring assemblies and workshops to schools, energising kids and introducing them to instruments.

You will connect with principals and teachers, travel across Sydney daily, and perform on stage with a dynamic, approachable presence. A full Australian driver’s license and own vehicle are required. 38 hours/week, day hours.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full Australian driver’s license and have your own vehicle.
• Experience engaging with primary-aged children in live or classroom settings is essential.
• Ability to travel to multiple schools across Sydney daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver music assemblies and workshops in primary schools across Sydney.
• Inspire children to learn instruments through engaging performances.
• Perform daily on stage and represent Rocksteady with a friendly, consultative approach.
• Build relationships with school staff to introduce the program and secure participation.
• Travel to various schools in Sydney each day.
