Job summary

The Music Bus in Sydney invites enthusiastic music teachers to join our expanding program starting in October 2026. You will teach small group music classes in a modern music lab, using a range of instruments including keyboard, guitar, ukulele, drums and voice.

Comprehensive training and ongoing support are provided to help you deliver engaging lessons. Applicants should have experience in teaching music, strong proficiency on at least one instrument, and the ability to integrate music

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching music.
• High proficiency in teaching on keyboard, guitar, ukulele, drums and singing; ability to teach others.
• Ability to embrace and use music technology in the classroom.
• Availability to attend interviews, auditions and training from mid January.
• Valid Working with Children clearance or ability to apply for one.

MUSIC TEACHERS - Sydney Start October 2026

The Music Bus is a fresh, exciting, fast-growing provider of school music tuition. The program operates at over 300 schools across NSW,ACT & VIC with around 5,000children taking part every week. Our program focuses on contemporary instruments - keyboard, guitar, ukulele, drums, singing and the exciting new Rock Band program.

We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled, energetic teachers who share our passion of giving as many children as possible the opportunity to experience music.

To be successful you must have:

• Experience in teaching music
• Highproficiencyin teaching in one or moreof either keyboard, guitar, ukulele, drums and singing andsome level of proficiency in teaching the others
• The ability to embrace and use music technology in the classroom
• The availability to attend interviews, auditions, and training from mid January
• A valid Working with Children clearance or the opportunity to apply for one
