Job summary

G’Day Group is seeking an Assistant Manager for Mt Buffalo, Bright, VIC. The role blends indoor front office management with hands-on grounds maintenance and park operations. A live-in position with accommodation is provided, requiring flexibility and a hands-on, customer-focused approach.

You will lead a small team, oversee guest services, coordinate maintenance and contribute to local marketing and revenue efforts. Weekend and after-hours work are expected as part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality management or related industries.
• Proven ability to develop and train staff.
• Strong customer service and guest enquiry handling.
• Experience in general building maintenance and grounds work.
• Flexible with work hours including weekends and after hours.
• Knowledge of WHS responsibilities.
• Experience with RMS or similar reservations systems preferred.
• Enjoys customer-facing communication and outdoor environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service and respond to enquiries.
• Lead Front Office management and park operations.
• Coordinate grounds, maintenance and cleaning to ensure park standards.
• Support marketing activities and local area promotion.
• Participate in an on-call roster as required.
