Job summary

The Century Group seeks a dedicated Venue Manager to oversee operations across its venues, including stage management, bar operations, cash handling, and client hospitality.

You will lead event staff, coordinate with agents, promoters and clients, ensure safety compliance, and maintain venue presentation. Evening and weekend work is required, with flexibility across multiple sites.

Experience in live entertainment venues and licensed premises is essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to work to deadlines and solve problems quickly.
• Strong leadership and staff supervision with a focus on customer service.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience running bar operations and cash handling.
• Practical knowledge of Liquor Licensing Laws and OH&S.
• Current NSW driver’s licence and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Oversee box office operations, bar management, cash handling and client hospitality.
• Manage venue setups, turnarounds and cross-event marketing.
• Recruit, train and supervise event staff across venues.
• Liaise with agents, promoters, artists and clients at events.
• Conduct venue maintenance, safety checks and compliance documentation.
• Ensure RSA compliance, stock control and ordering.
• Report end-of-event, security incidents and financials.
