Bayside Council is seeking a Litter & Illegal Dumping Prevention Officer to develop and deliver programs that reduce litter and improve public amenity across the Bayside area. You will coordinate hotspot management, engage stakeholders and manage grant-funded initiatives, reporting to project Steering Groups.

The role supports the Town Centre Uplift Program, focusing on cleanliness and environmental presentation through targeted prevention and community education.

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in environmental field or related discipline.
• Experience designing and delivering community education or behaviour change programs.
• Experience managing environmental, waste, litter or public amenity initiatives.
• Demonstrated project management including planning, budgeting and evaluation.
• Experience collecting, analysing and reporting on program performance data.
• Experience managing grant-funded projects and compliance reporting.
• Experience liaising with government agencies and diverse stakeholders.
• Current Class C Driver Licence.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, deliver and evaluate education programs to reduce litter and dumping.

• Secure and manage funding opportunities for projects.
• Analyse data and prepare reports for stakeholders.
• Manage NSW EPA-funded projects and grant compliance.
