Gorilla Jobs Pty Ltd. is recruiting a Litigation Lawyer in Sydney for 2 to 6+ years' PQE. The role offers real files early responsibility and court exposure across NSW, Federal Court and NCAT.

You will own a caseload from early on, run matters from instruction to resolution, and advise clients on strategy and risk. Admission to practice in Australia with a current practising certificate is required. Salary ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 plus super, with a lean, high-performing team behind you

Our client is a national litigation firm that would rather give a talented lawyer real files early than keep them in the review room. Its NSW team is looking for a Litigation Lawyer with 2 to 6+ years' PQE, predominantly in litigation, who wants responsibility, court exposure and a fast-moving practice.

About the role

You will own a caseload from early on, with senior leadership close by for the more complex matters. You will:

• Run litigation matters from first instructions through to resolution
• Manage pleadings, evidence, interlocutory steps and hearings
• Work across commercial, general, insolvency, insurance and building and construction disputes
• Advise clients on strategy, prospects and risk at each stage of a dispute
• Take on more responsibility as your capability grows

What you'll bring

• 2 to 6+ years' PQE, predominantly in litigation
• Knowledge of the practice and procedure of the NSW and Federal courts
• Hands-on experience managing and running litigation matters
• Admission to practise in Australia and a current practising certificate
• Favourable, not essential: experience in insolvency, insurance, building and construction, or general and commercial litigation
• Favourable: experience with disputes in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal
