Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of literacy improvement through evidence-based pedagogical practices, evidenced through data
• Ability to plan strategically for school improvement in Literacy, per MACS Vision for Instruction and Victorian Curriculum 2.0
• Organisational and time management skills; ability to work independently and as a team
• Capacity to lead and manage with high expectations for staff and students; promote learning and growth
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning in education, leadership and Literacy

Responsibilities

• Lead targeted teaching and growth of teachers and students in literacy
• Collaborate with Learning Culture Leader to foster a love of literacy and learning
• Work toward improved learning outcomes for all students using CV 2.0 and MACS Vision
• Model evidence-informed improvement and student-centred leadership
• Promote life-giving relationships and provide clarity and direction for staff, students and parents
