Itreat PTY LTD is seeking a Hook lift/Liquid Waste HR Driver to join our team on a full-time basis based in Pendle Hill, NSW 2145. You will transport liquid waste safely and in compliance with regulations, supporting our road transport operations.

The ideal candidate holds a valid HR licence, proven heavy-vehicle experience, and a safety-first approach. The role requires punctuality, independent work, and strong communication with clients and dispatch.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid HR (Heavy Rigid) licence and have a clean driving record.
• Experience driving heavy vehicles in transport or waste management is required.
• Experience handling liquid waste or hazardous materials is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication skills for interactions with clients and dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy rigid vehicle transporting liquid waste per regulations.
• Carry out pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle condition.
• Transport waste from collection points to treatment and disposal sites.
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation.
• Communicate clearly with clients, dispatch and team members about pickups and deliveries.
• Follow health, safety and environmental procedures and contain loads to prevent spills.
• Keep loads secure and ensure high standards of customer service at client locations.
• Report vehicle defects or incidents to management promptly.
• Adhere to company policies and work health and safety legislation.

We are seeking a Hook lift/Liquid Waste HR Driver to join the team at Itreat PTY LTD on a full-time basis. This is an immediate start opportunity based in Pendle Hill, NSW 2145. As a Liquid Waste HR Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, responsible for safely transporting liquid waste materials to designated disposal sites and treatment facilities. This position is essential to maintaining our operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations across our service area.

Key responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive a heavy rigid (HR) vehicle transporting liquid waste in compliance with all road and safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition
• Transport liquid waste from collection points to appropriate treatment and disposal facilities
• Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation, including manifests and customer records
• Communicate effectively with clients, dispatch centres and team members regarding collection and delivery details
• Adhere to all health, safety and environmental procedures, including proper handling and containment of hazardous materials
• Ensure loads are properly secured and contain spillage to prevent environmental contamination
• Maintain a professional approach to customer service and company reputation at all client locations
• Report any vehicle defects, safety concerns or incidents immediately to management
• Comply with all work health and safety legislation and company policies

What we're looking for

• Current HR (Heavy Rigid) driver's licence with a clean driving record
• Proven experience as a heavy vehicle driver in the transport or waste management industry
• Competency in handling and transporting liquid waste or hazardous materials
• Knowledge of road safety regulations and compliance requirements for heavy vehicle operation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Reliability and commitment to punctuality and meeting delivery schedules
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for vehicle and load safety
• Physical fitness to perform manual handling tasks where required
• A safety-first mindset with meticulous attention to detail
• Preferably, experience with hook lift/liquid waste transport or environmental services
