Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an HR Driver for a casual role based at our Erskine Park depot to service the Sydney region. As a Hook Lift Driver you will operate the collection vehicle, deliver to recycling and disposal facilities, and perform loading/unloading with a strong focus on safety and service.

You will need an HR licence and a clean driving record; previous hook lift experience is advantageous. We offer a competitive casual rate and flexible working arrangements within Australia’s largest waste

Responsibilities

• Operate a Hook Lift collection vehicle.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Load and unload of commercial waste, materials or consignments.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Conduct daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Keep the vehicle presentable inside and out.

Based at our Erskine Park depot, we are seeking an experienced HR Driver for casual role performing essential services throughout the region.

As a Hook Lift Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating a Hook Lift collection vehicle
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Perform loading and unloading duties of commercial waste, material or consignment
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• HR Licence and Clean Driving record
• Previous hook lift experience will be advantageous
• Good team attitude, reliable and willing to learn
• A strong commitment to safety, and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Waste industry experience is not essential
