Job summary

Mode Talent Pty Ltd is seeking a Linux Production Engineer for trading infrastructure, based in Sydney or Singapore. The role involves large on-prem, Co-Lo Linux stacks with HPC environments and global trading infrastructure.

You will support 24/7 operations with a four-day weekend shift pattern and participate in on-call rosters. Expect competitive compensation and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Networking knowledge and a willingness to learn more.
• Scripting competence with either Go or Python.
• Extensive experience profiling and debugging application stacks.
• Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining complicated systems.
• Experience with system configuration management tools (Salt, Puppet, Ansible, etc.).
• A compulsion to perform root-cause analysis.

Linux Production Engineer - Trading - Singapore or Sydney

Site Reliability Engineer/Production Engineer
$20,000 Per Month with options for an annual bonus up to or over $250k
4-day work week on the weekend shifts
Roster supporting 24/7 trading - 1 weekend in every three will be on call 2 12-hour shifts, with a maximum of 2 years on this roster and then back to 5 businessdays.
Large On-Prem, Co-Lo Linux experience a must, HFT, trading or Financial Industrya Bonus
Operate as one global team to support infrastructure, including multiple world-leading High-Performance Computing environments and a diverse global trading infrastructure that operates across many global financial markets.
