Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Melbourne is seeking experienced linehaul/intrastate drivers to join our VIC fleet based at Truganina. You will undertake depot-to-depot runs, perform bulk pickups and deliveries, and drive safely and efficiently in compliance with CoR and CEVA policies.

The role requires an MC driver licence, fatigue management certification, and successful medical, driver assessment and police checks. We offer a competitive linehaul rate of $0.605 per km and a supportive, diverse team

Exciting times are ahead as we’ve invested in brand-new European trucks and trailers as part of our national fleet.

We’re seeking expressions of interest from experienced drivers to join our VIC Linehaul / Intrastate Drivers, based out of Truganina.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Undertake depot-to-depot, direct and changeover runs
• Perform bulk pickup, drop-off and unload
• Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, complying with regulatory requirements and CEVA policies
• Ensure the safe handling and restraint of freight at all locations in conjunction with depot-based teams
• Complete documentation relating to trips, such as pre-starts, work diary, delivery dockets and timesheets.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has experience in linehaul driving and a current MC driver licence together with:

• Good understanding of CoR, including basic fatigue management, mass / dimensions, maintenance and load restraint, freight loading/unloading procedures
• Good reliability, work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail.
• Successful applicants must hold their basic fatigue management certification.
• In addition to providing proof of work rights and driver licence, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment, driver assessment, and national police check.
