Job summary

CEVA Logistics operates a national linehaul fleet from Berrinba QLD, seeking experienced drivers for intrastate runs. You will handle depot-to-depot duties and maintain a strong safety record.

Responsibilities

• Complete trip documentation (pre-starts, work diary, delivery dockets and timesheets).

Exciting times are ahead as we’ve invested in brand-new European trucks and trailers as part of our national fleet.

We’re seeking interest from experienced drivers to join our QLD Linehaul / Intrastate Drivers, based out of Berrinba QLD.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Specifically, you will:

• Undertake depot-to-depot, direct and changeover runs
• Perform bulk pickup, drop-off and unload
• Operate the vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, complying with regulatory requirements and CEVA policies
• Ensure the safe handling and restraint of freight at all locations in conjunction with depot-based teams
• Complete documentation relating to trips, such as pre-starts, work diary, delivery dockets and timesheets.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Our ideal candidate has experience in linehaul driving and a current MC driver licence together with:

• Good understanding of CoR, including basic fatigue management, mass / dimensions, maintenance and load restraint, freight loading/unloading procedures
• Good reliability, work ethic, communication skills and attention to detail.

In addition to providing proof of work rights and suitable professional referees, progressed candidates will be required to undergo a medical assessment and national police check.
