Job summary

Barminco, part of the PerentiGroup, invites applications for a Leading Hand Service Crew on a full-time basis at the Bellevue Gold Mine in Western Australia. You will lead an underground service crew, coordinating ventilation, dewatering, air, water, and general mine services to support safe production.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and mentoring within a high-performing team, with a 7/7 or 14/14 FIFO roster and strong opportunities for ongoing development on a premier sustainable mining

Qualifications

• Previous experience working on a Service Crew in a mining environment preferably as a Leading Hand.
• Current Working at Heights ticket.
• Good communications skills with the ability to liaise with a wide group of stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards.
• Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence)

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the underground service crew during day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate services including ventilation, dewatering, air, water and general mine services.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with safety procedures, permits, and mine standards.
• Allocate tasks, monitor work quality, and provide on-the-job guidance and mentoring.
• Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and hazard identification in work areas.
• Liaise with supervisors, maintenance, and production teams to meet operational priorities.
• Monitor equipment condition and report defects, incidents, or delays.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with site policies and procedure.

Barminco has successfully tendered for the exciting Bellevue Gold Projectlocatedapproximately 40km north-east of Leinster in Western Australia’s Northern Goldfields region. Operated by Bellevue Gold Limited, Bellevue is one of Australia’s highest-grade underground gold mines, achieving commercial production in 2024 and positioned for significant long-term growth.

This major underground operation combines industry-leading mining practices with a strong sustainability focus, including a hybrid renewable energy power station designed to supply more than 80% of the site’s power requirements through renewable energy sources.

About the Role

As part of this project, Barminco is seeking experienced and motivatedLeading Hand Service Crewto join the team on a full-time basis, working a 7/7 or 14/14 FIFO roster. These roles are integral to delivering safe,productiveand efficient underground mining operations at the Bellevue Gold Mine while contributing to the continued success and expansion of the Bellevue Gold Mine.

Your role will support underground production within a high-performing team focused on operational excellence and continuous improvement.

What Will Your Day-to-Day Look Like?
