Envigor is seeking a Lifestyle Support Assistant / Personal Care Worker to assist clients in their own homes across Stanthorpe, Queensland. The role focuses on compassionate personal care, domestic support, and social engagement, with attention to client safety and dignity.

Responsibilities include showering, dressing, meal preparation, transportation to medical appointments, and using mobility aids as needed. A commitment to flexible, respectful care and ongoing learning is essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated compassion and ability to support clients at home.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and safety.

Responsabilités

• Assist with personal care including showering, dressing and medication management.
• Provide domestic support such as meal prep, laundry and light cleaning.
• Offer social support and transport to appointments; accompany clients to activities.
• Assist with aids and mobility devices (frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slides).
• Monitor clients’ wellbeing and report changes appropriately.

Lifestyle Support Assistant / Personal Care Worker

Your Role

You will be committed in supporting our clients to live and age well in their own home. While no two days are the same, some of the key factors in your workday may include:

Personal Care: showering, dressing, medication, continence care

Domestic assistance: Meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning

Social Support/Transportation: travelling to medical appointments, community access, providing companionship

Assisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc

Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognising and reporting change with a client appropriately

What We Need From You

A passion in caring and supporting people to live their best lives

Always respectful and polite while upholding professional boundaries of being friendly and not friends

Current driver licence and your own insured vehicle – travel is a part of the role

Completed a Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability or are willing to obtain

Covid-19 Vaccinated

Current NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card – or –

Current National Police Check and be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion

Lastly, you have the right attitude and you take each day as it comes as some clients can be challenging but you don’t take it personally. Delays in your day can make you feel flustered, but you know to shake it off before you greet the next client.
