Job summary

Envigor in Australia is looking for a Lifestyle Support Assistant / Personal Care Worker to help clients live and age well at home. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, and social support, with travel to Warwick area.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability, are Covid-19 vaccinated, and have current First Aid/ CPR, NDIS Worker Screening, Police Check, and a valid driver licence with insured vehicle. Orientation and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability completed or willing to obtain.
• Covid-19 Vaccinated.
• NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card.
• National Police Check and be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
• Current driver licence and your own insured vehicle (travel is part of the role).

Responsibilities

• Personal Care: showering, dressing, medication, continence care.
• Domestic assistance: Meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning.
• Social Support/Transportation: travelling to medical appointments, community access, providing companionship.
• Assisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc.
• Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognising and reporting change with a client appropriately.
• Travel will be required within the Warwick/Allora/Clifton areas.

Your Role

You will be committed in supporting our clients to live and age well in their own home. While no two days are the same, some of the key factors in your workday may include:

Personal Care: showering, dressing, medication, continence care

Domestic assistance: Meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning

Social Support/Transportation: travelling to medical appointments, community access, providing companionship

Assisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc

Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognising and reporting change with a client appropriately

Travel will be required within the Warwick/Allora/Clifton areas.

What We Need From You

A passion in caring and supporting people to live their best lives

Current driver licence and your own insured vehicle – travel is a part of the role

Completed a Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability or are willing to obtain

Covid-19 Vaccinated

Current NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card – or –

Current National Police Check and be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
