Job summary

Envigor is seeking a Lifestyle Support Assistant / Personal Care Worker to help clients live well at home in Queensland. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, and social support, while respecting boundaries and maintaining client dignity.

Ideal candidates hold a Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability, have a valid licence/vehicle for travel, and are vaccinated. Ongoing training and development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability or willingness to obtain.
• Current driver licence and insured vehicle; travel is required.
• Covid-19 vaccination.
• NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card or willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening.
• First Aid & CPR certificate.
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion.
• Commitment to compassionate client-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Personal care: showering, dressing, medication assistance, continence care.
• Domestic assistance: meal preparation, laundry, light cleaning.
• Social support/transport: accompany to medical appointments, community access, companionship.
• Assist with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes appropriately.

Your Role

You will be committed in supporting our clients to live and age well in their own home. While no two days are the same, some of the key factors in your workday may include:

Personal Care: showering, dressing, medication, continence care

Domestic assistance: Meal preparation, laundry, light household cleaning

Social Support/Transportation: travelling to medical appointments, community access, providing companionship

Assisting with aids: frames, wheelchairs, hoists, slide sheets, hearing aids, etc

Monitoring the overall wellbeing of clients, recognising and reporting change with a client appropriately

What We Need From You

A passion in caring and supporting people to live their best lives

Current driver licence and your own insured vehicle - travel is a part of the role

Completed a Certificate III in Aged, Community or Disability or are willing to obtain

Covid-19 Vaccinated

Current NDIS Worker Screening/Yellow Card - or -

Current National Police Check and be willing to obtain NDIS Worker Screening

Current First Aid & CPR Certificate

NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate of Completion
