Job summary

McArthur in Northgate, South Australia is seeking an experienced Lifestyle Coordinator to support the development and review of person-centred Lifestyle Plans for residents in a Residential Aged Care facility. The role focuses on engaging programs that promote social connection and overall wellbeing, with guidance provided to care staff.

You will hold a Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle and have demonstrated ability to create engaging programs for diverse residents, lead staff in

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle is required.
• Experience as Lifestyle Coordinator or similar in aged care.
• Strong understanding of person-centred care and individualized lifestyle planning.
• Ability to develop engaging programs for residents with diverse needs.
• Ability to guide and support staff in program implementation.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review individualised Lifestyle Plans tailored to residents' needs and preferences.
• Develop engaging lifestyle programs to promote social connection and wellbeing.
• Guide and support staff in implementing Lifestyle Plans and programs.
• Promote resident choice, independence and meaningful engagement.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure initiatives meet residents' needs.
