Job summary

Infinite Care is seeking a Personal Carer & Engagement Worker to support our elderly residents with compassionate, resident-centered care across all shifts. You will collaborate with nursing and engagement teams to ensure safety, timely care, and positive interactions in a busy, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in aged care, with First Aid/CPR certification, NDIS Screening clearance, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• Understanding of person-centred care principles and application in lifestyle programs.
• Qualifications across Certificate III in Individual Support or Leisure and Lifestyle desirable.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance essential to work in aged care.

The Opportunity

At Infinite Care, we pride ourselves on providing industry leading resident care and services which encourages and enables residents to remain independent with all employees working in our companywide safety-first workplace. Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts.

This role based at xxx care home location at xxx will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

• Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• Understanding of person-centred care principles and their application in lifestyle programs with basic knowledge of the emotional, social, and physical needs of older adults.
• Qualifications across Certificate III Individual Support or Leisure and Lifestyle is applicable for this role is desirable.
• Hold (*or willingness to obtain) the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector
• Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
• Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
