Infinite Care is seeking a Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistant to support our elderly residents across AM, PM and Night shifts. You will join a caring team working closely with nursing and engagement staff to deliver compassionate, resident-focused care.

Ideal applicants have at least 1 year in Aged Care, strong communication skills, and a willingness to obtain required clearances. A safety-first culture and opportunities across 18 homes nationally are highlighted.

Qualifikationen

• Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• Understanding of person-centred care principles and their application to lifestyle programs.
• NDIS Workers Screening Clearance is essential to work in the Aged Care sector.
• Excellent safety awareness to prevent resident injuries.
• Positive teamwork attitude and reliable time management for shift handovers.

The Opportunity

Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts.

This role based at xxx care home location at xxx will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

• Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
• Understanding of person-centred care principles and their application in lifestyle programs with basic knowledge of the emotional, social, and physical needs of older adults.
• Qualifications across Certificate III Individual Support or Leisure and Lifestyle is applicable for this role is desirable.
• Hold (*or willingness to obtain) the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector
• Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
• Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
