Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking experienced Lifeguards for casual roles at Oak Park Sports and Aquatic Centre. You will oversee daily pool operations, ensure a safe environment, and deliver excellent service to members and visitors, including children.

Strong communication and safety awareness are essential for this role. Ideal candidates hold current First Aid (Level 2), CPR, and a Pool Lifeguard certificate, with the ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends across a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication and customer service.

• Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR.
• National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pool operations to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Monitor patrons and respond to emergencies promptly and calmly.
• Assist with customer service and Aquatic Centre activities.
• Communicate effectively with patrons of diverse ages and backgrounds.

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Lifeguards to join the team on a casual basis. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time and with a flair for working with children.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.
