Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking enthusiastic Lifeguards to join the Petria Thomas Swimming Pool team in Mullumbimby, NSW. You will oversee day-to-day pool operations, ensure safety for all patrons, and lead a friendly team dedicated to excellent customer service.

Ideal applicants have a Royal Life Saving Lifeguard Certificate, strong water-safety ethos, and flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends. A positive, proactive attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate is highly regarded
• Experience in water safety and delivering customer service
• Willingness to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse patron base
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & CPR demonstrated

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pool operations.
• Ensure safety in and around pools for all patrons.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the team.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and safety.

This is a great opportunity for qualified Lifeguards who value water safety andlove working with people,to provide leadership and coaching to our team.

The Role

We are currently taking expressions of interest for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguardsto join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Holding a VALID Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate is highly regarded and will help your application advance.

You commitment and flexibility to weekend, public holidays and increased hours during our peak operating seasons will be rewarded and recognised.

Skills & Attributes:

• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Working with Vulnerable People
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
• Current Pool Operations Certificateis not essential but highly regarded

Previous industry experience is highly regarded!
