Job summary

East Gippsland Shire Council is hiring a Lifeguard and Customer Service Officer for the Orbost Outdoor Pool. This casual, seasonal position covers mornings, days, evenings, and weekends during the opening season. You will supervise patrons, provide high-quality reception service, and support day-to-day customer operations.

Applicants must have a Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR, and a current Lifeguard certificate. Flexible hours and a supportive team environment await.

Qualifications

• Employee Working with Children Check is required.
• First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Current Pool Lifeguard certificate is required.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old and legally able to work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, helpful customer service at the pool reception and over the phone.
• Handle conflicts with patrons calmly and respectfully.
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance while on duty.
