Job summary

Nuffield Health is seeking a Lifeguard for our Paddington gym. You will monitor pool, spa, sauna and steam room areas, ensuring member safety and delivering excellent customer care.

Holding an NPLQ or equivalent, you’ll be a proactive, team-focused individual who creates a welcoming environment and responds swiftly to incidents. 16 hours per week pro rata salary listed; benefits include gym access and pension options.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) or equivalent.
• Strong customer service mindset and a proactive attitude.
• Able to work as part of a team and adapt to poolside demands.

Responsibilities

• Help members stay safe and healthy when using pool facilities.
• Be attentive and alert at all times.
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment.
• Welcome and support members when using facilities.
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to incidents quickly.
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times.

As a Lifeguard, you will:

• Help our members stay safe and healthy when using our wet side facilities – the swimming pool, spa, sauna and steam room
• Be attentive and alert at all times
• Create a friendly, relaxed and professional environment
• Welcome and support members when using the facilities
• Pay close attention to safety and respond to any incidents straight away
• Ensure Pool Safety Guidelines are followed at all times
