Job summary

Freedom Leisure is hiring a Lifeguard to help keep our busy pool and leisure facilities safe and welcoming. You’ll deliver excellent customer service, supervise swim sessions, and maintain poolside safety with a focus on inclusivity and a friendly atmosphere.

We provide fully funded training to obtain the NPLQ lifeguard qualification, ongoing development, and a benefits package. The role is part-time, Sunday shifts, and offers flexible working hours and opportunities to progress within the

Qualifications

• NPLQ qualification or equivalent.
• First Aid at Work (desirable).
• Enhanced DBS check to be carried out.
• Ability and understanding of how to relate to customers of all ages and abilities and also to all levels of staff.
• Well developed interpersonal skills.
• Team orientated approach, able to work across organisation boundaries and demonstrate interest and be supportive of the work of staff and colleagues.
• To be able to work flexibly and understand instructions from managers.
• Demonstrated passion and energy for the leisure industry.
• Regular cleaning, maintenance and preparation of areas and equipment as appropriate.
