Job summary

Belgravia Leisure in Bathurst is seeking a casual lifeguard to manage daily pool operations and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all visitors. You will be responsible for water safety, crowd management and delivering high levels of customer service.

Applicants should hold a current lifeguard certificate, first aid, CPR and police checks. Availability across mornings, evenings and weekends is essential for this role, with opportunities for development within our health and leisure network.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Understanding of OHS and public safety within the facility.
• Availability to work mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate (and related certifications).
• Pool Operations Certificate is a plus.
• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR Certification.
• Working with Children's Check (employee status) and National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pool operations in the facility.
• Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
• Maintain water safety and respond to incidents promptly.

The Role

We are currently looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguard to join the team on a casual basis. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the day to day pool operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Skills & Attributes
