Job summary

Belgravia Leisure's NSW Mullumbimby pool facility is seeking enthusiastic lifeguards to join the team for day-to-day pool operations and to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will need outstanding communication skills, a commitment to safety and flexibility to mornings, evenings and weekends. A valid Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate and relevant certifications are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• RN/Australian Police Check and Working with Children considerations are required.
• Holding a valid Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate is highly regarded and will help your application.
• First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificates are expected.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate andWorking with Vulnerable People compliance are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Day to Day Pool Operations at the Mullumbimby facility while ensuring a safe environment for all patrons.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the lifeguard team and ensure high standards of water safety.
• Communicate effectively with diverse age groups, cultures and needs to deliver excellent customer service.

This is a great opportunity for qualified Lifeguards who value water safety and love working with people, to provide leadership and coaching to our team.

The Role

We are currently taking expressions of interest for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly lifeguards to join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safety around the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

Holding a VALID Royal Life Saving Pool Lifeguard Certificate is highly regarded and will help your application advance.

You commitment and flexibility to weekend, public holidays and increased hours during our peak operating seasons will be rewarded and recognised.

Skills & Attributes

• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
• Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded
