Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is recruiting enthusiastic lifeguards for the Moss Vale aquatic centre. You will manage daily pool operations, maintain safety, and deliver outstanding customer service to patrons.

We offer weekend flexibility, mornings/evenings shifts, and a strong focus on safety and teamwork. A current lifeguard certification, first aid, CPR, and police checks are required or highly regarded for consideration.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate.
• National Police Check is required.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate is required.
• Current Pool Operations Certificate is not essential but highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Day to Day Pool Operations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.
• Lead and coach team members to maintain water safety and customer service excellence.
• Communicate effectively with a diverse patron base including ages and abilities.
• Commitment to weekends and peak season hours; flexible shifts offered.

This is a great opportunity for qualified Lifeguards who value water safety andlove working with people,to provide leadership and coaching to our team.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendlylifeguardsto join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with students that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

We have multiple casual positions available with the option to transfer a part time position for the right employees. Your commitment and flexibility to weekends and increased hours during our peak operating seasons will be rewarded and recognised.

Skills & Attributes:

• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
• Current Pool Operations Certificateis not essential but highly regarded
