Job summary

Belgravia Leisure invites energetic Lifeguards to join the team at NSW Great Lakes Aquatic & Leisure Centre, Forster 2428. You will manage day-to-day pool operations and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for all patrons.

We value water safety, customer service excellence and clear communication. Flexible availability across mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays is required, with shifts from 5:45 am to 9:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid (Level 2) and CPR certificate.
• National Police Check is required.
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate is required.
• Pool Operations Certificate is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day pool operations within the facility.
• Ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons.
• Deliver friendly customer service and effective communication.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Lifeguardsto join the team. Our lifeguards will be responsible for the Day to Day Pool Operations within our facility and ensure that all areas both in and surrounding our pools is a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons.

You will have a passion for safetyaround the water. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensureour patrons safely enjoy their visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs.

We are seeking a team member with flexible availability who can work across a variety of shifts. Applicants must be available to undertake both opening shifts commencing at 5:45 am and closing shifts finishing at 9:00 pm, including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Skills & Attributes:

• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as a strong and valuable part of the team
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded
• Current Pool Operations Certificateis not essential but highly regarded
