Job summary

Compare Club is seeking a Client Services Specialist to join our Life Insurance team in Sydney. You’ll build strong relationships with existing customers, help manage and retain life insurance policies, and support clients through updates, premium management, and cancellations.

You’ll handle inquiries with tailored solutions to maximize retention, collaborate with underwriters and case managers, and work with our offshore retention team to ensure smooth outcomes across the policy lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in client services, customer care or retention.
• Experience in life insurance or financial services is preferred but not essential.
• Confidence managing complaints and navigating compliance requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Reach out to clients regarding missed payments, renewal notices, and cancellation requests via phone, email, and SMS.
• Provide comparison quotes and assist with new life insurance applications at the client's request.
• Respond to inquiries with tailored solutions to maximize retention and customer satisfaction.
• Build strong working relationships with external underwriters and case managers to streamline outcomes.
• Maintain professional, ongoing relationships with Compare Club members.
• Work closely with internal Life Insurance Specialists and other teams across the business.
• Identify and act on opportunities for cross-sell and upsell within our existing customer base.
• Ensure timely completion of all client-related tasks.
• Collaborate with and support our offshore retention team.
