Job summary

Integrate Recruitment is seeking an experienced Client Service Officer to support a Risk Adviser in a focused financial planning practice in Sydney. You will manage the client journey from advice through to application, underwriting, policy implementation and ongoing servicing.

The role emphasises navigating complex risk insurance applications, keeping clients informed, coordinating with insurers, and ensuring timely progress of every application while maintaining compliance and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Client Service Officer or insurance administration role.
• Experience supporting a Financial Adviser providing risk advice.
• Strong communication with clients, insurers and medical providers.
• Attention to detail with multiple applications and priorities.
• Experience using financial planning software such as Xplan.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive administrative and client service support to the Risk Adviser.
• Act as a key point of contact for clients throughout the advice and implementation process.
• Schedule client appointments and prepare relevant documentation ahead of meetings.
• Follow up clients for outstanding information, identification, medical requirements and supporting documents.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure they are kept informed throughout the application and underwriting process.
• Respond to client enquiries professionally, promptly and with empathy.
• Prepare and lodge applications for life, TPD, trauma and income protection.
• Complete pre-assessments and liaise with insurers regarding potential underwriting outcomes.
• Coordinate medical examinations, pathology testing, financial evidence and additional underwriting requirements.
• Liaise directly with underwriters, insurers, medical providers and clients to progress applications.
