Job summary

Ventia in Darwin, in partnership with the Australian Defence Force, is seeking Lifeguard / Pool Attendants to join our team at Ventia's Defence Precincts across Darwin, NT. This casual role focuses on keeping swimming facilities safe, welcoming and well-supervised for Defence personnel and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring pool usage, supervising swimmers to prevent accidents, providing First Aid/CPR, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment.

Qualifications

• Active lifeguard certificate required.
• First Aid/ CPR certificate required.
• Availability to work across a Monday to Sunday roster.
• Driver's licence and own transport required.
• Australian Citizenship required.
• Ability to complete Police check and medical.

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool usage and enforce safety rules.
• Closely supervise swimmers and respond to emergencies.
• Administer First Aid when required.
• General cleaning and upkeep of equipment.

Job description

In partnership with the Australian Defence Force, Ventia are seeking Lifeguard / Pool Attendants to join our team at Ventia's Defence Precincts accross Darwin, NT. You will play a vital role in supporting our Defence personnel by ensuring the swimming facilities are a safe, welcoming and well-supervised environment.

Working on a casual basis, the position is paying $35.30 inclusive of casual loading

Duties

• Monitoring pool usage and making sure safety rules are being followed
• Closely supervising swimmers to prevent accidents and respond to any emergencies
• Administering First aid as required
• General cleaning of equipment

About You

• Active lifeguard certificate
• First Aid / CPR certificate
• Availability to work flexibly across a Monday to Sunday roster
• Drivers licence and own transport
• As per contractual requirements, you will need to be an Australian Citizen.
• Must be able to complete an Australian National Police check and medical.
