Job summary

Delivering 4 Customers (D4C) is seeking an industrial electrician to join our teams based out of Daceyville. The role involves performing planned and reactive maintenance across our region, with a permanent full-time, Monday–Friday day shift from 7am.

The package includes favourable hourly rate, shift penalties, allowances, and overtime. Essential items include an Electrical Licence, Australian Recognised Trade Certificate, and Australian Drivers Licence.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of SCADA systems and instrumentation policies.
• Strong understanding of safety, compliance and environmental policies.
• Instrumentation qualifications viewed favourably.

Responsibilities

• Perform planned maintenance and ensure safety of plant and equipment.
• Respond to equipment faults on shift with timely maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Fault finding and rectification with reporting and record maintenance.
• Install and test new equipment and perform general day-to-day maintenance.

Partnering with Sydney Water,Delivering4 Customers (D4C) supports the design, construction, maintenance and facilities management services as part of a long-term program of works.

What we are looking for

… an industrial electrician to join our teams based out of Daceyville. Your day-to-day activities include performing planned and reactive maintenance across our region.

Must Have…

• Electrical Licence

• Must be physically fit

Conditions

Electrical licence allowances $69.49 per week and various other allowances included.

Rates per hour $51.72

Afternoon shift is paid at 15% + on-call has standby allowance of $111 per day (every 8 weeks)

Asset types requiring maintenance may include:

• UV equipment
• Cathodic protection
• Chemical dosing equipment experience
• Wastewater and water pumping stations and associated equipment
• Low pressure and vacuum systems
• Mixers, blower, gearboxes, skimmers, actuators and valves

As part of the Operations Maintenance team, your day-to-day activities include:

• Accountability to safely conduct role within D4C and Sydney Water's safety, compliance, and environmental policies
• Perform planned maintenance, ensuring compliance and safety of plant and equipment
• Responsive maintenance to equipment faults on shift
• Regular inspections, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
• Fault finding and rectification, including reporting and record maintenance
• Installation and testing of new equipment
• General day to day maintenance activities

Who youare…

• Practical and theoretical knowledge of SCADA
• Understanding and application of leading policies and procedures
• Instrumentation qualifications will be viewed favourably

Operational information:

• Permanent - fulltime role Mon to Fri on day shift 7am start
• Favourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances and overtime
• 1 week every 8 weeks - afternoon shift 3:30 start, with an ‘on-call' component and weekend roster
• Leave entitlements, RDO's and benefits
