FedEx Australia seeks a Licensed Customs Broker to manage end-to-end customs clearances with top standards of compliance and service. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and government authorities to deliver seamless import/export outcomes.

Responsibilities include tariff classification, valuation, and duty minimisation strategies, plus maintaining meticulous documentation and coordinating across customs, freight forwarding, and transport teams.

Qualifications

• Licensed Customs Broker is essential and must be current.
• Experience in import/export customs clearance operations.
• Strong knowledge of Australian customs legislation, tariff classification, and valuation.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across customs, freight forwarding and transport teams.

Responsibilities

• Lodge import and export declarations and manage customs entries end to end.
• Ensure accurate tariff classification, valuation and application of relevant rules.
• Review shipping and customs docs for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide duty minimisation strategies and tariff concession guidance.
• Liaise with clients, internal teams and government agencies.
• Manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
