Job summary

JTMEC, part of the Epiroc Group, is seeking a skilled Electrical Technician for a permanent full‑time role on a 7/7 rotating roster (days and nights) at one of Australia’s leading mining operations. You will install, maintain, fault‑find, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems to support plant reliability and safe operations.

You must hold a NSW Electrical Licence and a valid Driver's Licence, with strong diagnostic abilities, ability to read drawings, knowledge of standards, good

Qualifications

  • Current NSW Electrical Licence is required.
  • Current Driver's Licence required.
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations.
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
  • Commitment to maintaining a Zero Harm safety culture.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team.
  • Reliable, self‑motivated with focus on quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Installation, maintenance, fault finding, troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Key to ensuring plant reliability, equipment performance and safe operations across the site.

About You
  • Current NSW Electrical Licence
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
  • Sound knowledge of relevant electrical standards and regulations
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
  • Commitment to maintaining a Zero Harm safety culture
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
  • Reliable, self‑motivated approach with a strong focus on quality workmanship
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Previous mining industry experience
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Confined Space certification
  • High Risk Work Licence – WP
  • Current LV CPR certification
