Zusammenfassung

Mosman Council’s Mosman Library Services is seeking a qualified librarian to provide reference and information services, lend and advise readers in a friendly public library setting. You will coordinate inter-library loans, access multicultural and community language collections, and assist with the management and accessibility of library collections, including periodicals and shelving.

Data reporting and administrative support are also part of the role.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary qualification in Library and Information Science (or equivalent).
• Experience delivering reference and information services, including the use of library management systems, databases and digital resources.
• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Highly organised with strong computer skills (Microsoft 365), the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Deliver exceptional customer service through reference, information, lending and reader advisory services.
• Coordinate inter-library loans, reservations and access to multicultural and community language collections.
• Support the management and accessibility of library collections, including periodicals, shelving and collection maintenance.
