Job summary

Georges River Libraries in Sydney are seeking a Library Officer – Children & Youth to support and inspire literacy and lifelong learning. You will develop and deliver engaging programs for children and families, working within the Children & Youth Services team across Georges River Libraries.

You will build partnerships with schools and community groups to promote library services and participation, contributing to inclusive, welcoming programs at Clive James Library, Kogarah and other locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in library services or children's programs.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to deliver engaging programs to children and families.

Responsibilities

• Undertake rostered duties at all Georges River Libraries to meet customer expectations.
• Deliver and promote library programs and experiences for children, young people and families.
