Job summary

Council Jobs is seeking a Library Officer – Children & Youth to help deliver engaging library programs and experiences across the Georges River community. You will support children and families through early literacy activities, storytelling and creative programs, ensuring welcoming and inclusive experiences.

You will collaborate with schools, preschools and community groups to promote library services and participation, contributing to a vibrant Children & Youth Services team.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and a creative approach to program delivery.
• Ability to create welcoming and inclusive experiences for children, families, schools and groups.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging library programs and experiences for children, young people and families.
• Develop and deliver programs from Rhyme Time and Story Time to educational and recreational activities.
• Build relationships with schools, preschools and community organisations through outreach.
