Job summary

St Francis Catholic College in Melton seeks a Library Manager to lead Alexandria Resource Centre on the Melton Campus, fostering a vibrant reading culture and supporting teaching and learning through high-quality print and digital resources.

Starting January 2027, this full-time POL 2 role offers opportunities to lead programs, collaborate with staff and families, and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive school community.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor of Education or equivalent).
• Strong commitment to Catholic education and the ethos of the College.
• Ability to implement differentiated learning and use contemporary technology to support student outcomes.
• Develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Alexandria Resource Centre at the Melton Campus.
• Foster a vibrant reading culture and literacy programs.
• Manage library programs and resources (print and digital).
• Support teaching and learning through high-quality resources.
• Build capacity and positive relationships with students, staff, families and the community.
