Job summary

Toowoomba Regional Council is seeking a Library Assistant – Programs & Engagement in the Toowoomba CBD on a casual basis. You will assist in delivering programs, services and community engagement, promote literacy and library usage, and support social inclusion across the Toowoomba Region.

This position is based in the Toowoomba CBD with CBD parking and offers an hourly rate of $39.26–$42.48 gross per hour, plus casual loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.

About the position

As a Library Assistant – Programs &Engagement, you will assist in the provision of programs, servicesand community engagement in the Toowoomba Region. You will promoteliteracy and library usage, social inclusion, and the ToowoombaRegion library service within the community.

In this position, you will workunder regular direction.
