Job summary

Crawford TPA is seeking a Liability Claims Consultant to manage a diverse portfolio of liability claims across Australia, from lodgement through settlement. You will build client relationships, assess coverage and liability, and provide technical recommendations to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience managing liability claims (at least 1 years’ experience).
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation and claims handling practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and work autonomously.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of liability claims from lodgement through to settlement
• Assessing coverage, liability and claim quantum in line with legislation and policy requirements
• Investigating and managing complex personal injury and property liability claims
• Providing technical advice and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
• Participating in client reviews and claims strategy discussions
• Managing escalated claims matters and complaints where required
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, solicitors, brokers and external service providers
